Ugh!!! I feel your pain!!! Sometimes I get really fed up with Facebook! !!! I am even very careful who I friend!!! Re: Week 1 PHFHG Questions

I can't speak about Phfhg because we haven't got there but I do know you can get blank top paper on amazon as well as several other sites. Donna Young even has some you can print on her site. Good luck!

Re: Better to do Beyond or Bigger half speed???

One thing I'm going to do to slow down Beyond & Bigger for my dd7 is only do it 4 days a week instead of 5. I've read it adds 9 weeks for each. So that would slow down 1/2 a school year before Preparing. I haven't started yet though so we'll see how it goes!!

Re: what do you use for health

We haven't started homeschooling yet but in my state (NE) a health curriculum is required. I had thought I would just use Horizon health but now will be looking into these other options too. Thanks ladies!!!

Re: choosing between emerging reader and draw into heart of read

Thank you for posting this question!! I don't have an answer for you because we are in the exact same situation with my DD. :) She is also a very advanced reader. And thanks to all who answered. Re: OT- Question?

We just got the ESV Seek & Find Bible for our (almost) 7 yr old DD. It has a few pictures, the type size is bigger than most. She really likes it!! That's exactly what she said too, that she wanted a "real" Bible and not just a story Bible. Anyway, I think this one says for ages 5-9.

I'm new to homeschooling (actually haven't filled out paperwork yet) but I would suggest you find out your state laws regarding what is required! Prayers for you!!

Re: 1st grade in DITHOR

Thanks for the helpful reply! That is what I'm leaning towards, thanks! In Dec at her school they did a "test" and she was reading at a beginning of 3rd grade level and her vocabulary comprehension was at end of 1st grade level. However, she doesn't like to read out loud a lot and I'm not sure about...

And with the Lord’s leading we want to bring her home next year!! We also have a DS who is 3 (4 in Nov). Looking at the placement cha...
