Re: Re-Intro & Using HOD for children with Down syndrome
Thanks for the warm welcome, Tamara! Your house sounds a lot like mine, lol. My 6yo has some sensory processing issues (actually 3 of my children do- but his are the most significant). He was diagnosed with PPD-NOS (on the autistic spectrum), for lack of a better diagnosis. He also has ADHD. Basical...

Re: Please check out my weekly update - things are BETTER!
That is so awesome that you guys had a great week and were able to finish everything!! We did about half of LHFHG with Colton for K and I remember the feeling of overwhelm, thinking "are we EVER going to be able to do this as written!" He's a perfectionist too, and would get frustrated if things wer...

Re-Intro & Using HOD for children with Down syndrome
I've only posted a few times over that past years. Here's our story....We were using Sonlight before we found HOD. I wanted to find something more cohesive and Christ-centered & felt blessed to find HOD. I ordered LHTH to use for our son w/Down syndrome and LHFHG for his older brother. Things got cr...

Re: If I go with....
Interested to hear what others have to say since I'm thinking of using CLE Math and LA rather than what is recommended in the TM for Bigger for 3rd grade for my ds. I know it says you can just *use your own instead* but I wonder if it's better to just switch to what's in the TM- I'm sure each child ...

Re: middle school guide plans
Thank you so much, Julie! I knew Carrie had a reason for the way she planned out the guides- just was wondering what is was This was exactly the explanation I was hoping to find- so thanks again!

Re: middle school guide plans
Thanks....I did see that, it just looks like you'd either do one of the guides half-speed for two years or just graduate early (which could be a good thing!). I'm just going to be starting 2 of my little ones in LHTH and will wait to start my other little guy in Bigger or Preparing for 3rd grade. We...

Re: middle school guide plans
What did you enter in the search box to find the list for future guides? I always have the hardest time finding anything when I try to search for previous postsmelissamomof3girls wrote:eta: I saw the list for intended future guides
But still, subbing to the thread.

middle school guide plans
Sorry if this question has been asked multiple times already but will there be another guide released for the middle school age range after MtMM? I noticed that if you were to start your dc in LHFHG for K and do a guide each year, the future guides listed would go through 11th grade. I'm sure I'm ju...

Questions about Beyond & Reintro :-)
For those of you who have used Beyond..... What types of activities/experiments do you get to do for science during the year? Did you feel any need to add to it? Did your child seemed prepared to move on to R&S English 2 after using the LA in Beyond? We had a *blip* on our homeschooling adventure la...

LHTH Alphabet Index Card Printables?
There was an error in my LHTH guide. It says in the guide I can print an extra copy of the alphabet index cards online. Where do I find them?
Thanks and Blessings,
Emily
