 I agree with ya Steph. I just did not want to leave that out there because I realized you were right. :D And that is the best answer for most people really it is. Just did not want to mislead anyone. I do weird things all the time and never think of it because it works on my head...

Why did I let this sit on my shelf for so long!
Been using DITHR this year and really enjoying it. But I have to confess I have had it, the entire thing every guidebook, for a long time. I just never got to it. I was afraid it was going to be too teacher intensive. I have six, I run three HOD programs and one has special needs that take quite a b...

Re: Rev2Rev State Study
Want to just edit this. She is right. I was not thinking. We really had to modify things to use it with more than one child and not make copies, which is not allowed with this book. So you would be better with more than one child if you can to each have their own books.

Re: From CTC to RTR
We have done the jump from CTC to RTR twice now. We have not found that it was a hard jump at all. They really do develop the skills in CTC for RTR. We really did not notice a jump. By the time they were done with CTC they were ready. I think you are going to find your child is perfectly ready as we...

Re: Sneak Peek #4: New Guide Missions to Modern Marvels...
inHistiming, The history portion of Missions to Modern Marvels will not need additions for high school beyond the Extension Package. :D We're looking for the level of independence to be similar to what you see in Rev2Rev. :D Blessings, Carrie Awesome! We can't wait to use it. I know it will be wond...

Re: HOD and Awana verses?
We do Awana and HOD verses. I think my kids are much better at Awana because of HOD. It really helps them to memorize verses easily. I am definitely of the more the better when it comes to scripture. our time is short. I want as many verses in their heart as possible before they go out into the worl...

Re: Advice on where to re-start....
It is really very doable to run CTC and Bigger. One thing you can do to help a bit is lead your youngest to be a little more independent over time. I found the box under History Reading that changes daily was very easy to have be semi independent. My kids also always did the science projects pretty ...

Re: Advice on where to re-start....
Welcome back!!!!! :D So glad to see you! Just looking at what you are saying here I am wondering if you have considered putting the 12 year old in CTC or where they fit best and then placing the 8 year old where they fit best. You have a 4 year span there and I honestly think it would be less work t...

Re: DITHR and taking the character/Bible further any ideas?
Hi Julie!!! :D I am great. :D Those are great ideas. Thank you for that. :D I had been reading the verse in context and looking at referenced verses that connect type thing and putting it in context. We need mega focus so thought I would just get more of a good thing. In fact I am picking my ...

Re: Let me hear you sing the praises of RevtoRev!!!
We are using it this year! We love it! :D We are not as far into it as the rest of you are. Our year starts later than most. I am doing the beefed up version for high school. My dd is a little more independent. She is absolutely loving it! :D I asked her about what she is loving recently. One thing ...

Re: Art Supplies Storage????
We use plastic storage things with drawers we got from wallmart (the smaller ones) and a bin that is about the size of a half crate. Other cool storage stuff we have are the little pencil boxes wallmart sells and we have a peg board which is my best friend. Peg boards are really nice. You can use a ...

Re: Teaching the Child to Study the Dictation Passage
It sounds like you are already sort of there but will just throw out what we do in case that helps. I have them copy the passage to practice it, you know as copywork, that helps a lot. Other thing that really I think makes it more fun is we make a game out of finding punctuation and even bett...
