Re: order of books in DITHOR
Yes you will cover half of the books and you can do them in any order you want. I would let him pick. I always let my ds pick out of a selection I choose.

Re: Drawn into the Heart of Reading--Am I missing something?
There are no specific books or pages listed for DITHR so that you can use any book that you like. The book packs are just for your convenience. You can also do the genres in any order you wish it does not matter at all. ;) As far as how many pages you read you can just divide the book pages by the n...

Re: Preparing question on history books
Personally I would get the SELF-STUDY DELUXE HISTORY PACKAGE: FOR THE NEWLY INDEPENDENT READER even if I was using the extensions. If you don't have those than you would be skipping one of the daily I boxes which include some of your history notebooking assignments. The books in that package are rea...

Re: Struggling with Bigger extensions
If he just finished the ER's I would think that the extensions would be too hard for him. If he is struggling I would not use them.

Re: BEYOND Bible Study First? and Other Order Questions
You can do the boxes in any order you want. I don't even tell my kids about the connections. They are able to make the connection themselves in their minds. You can tell them if you want though.

I wouldn't worry about it. He will cover the same time period in greater depth through the next 4 guides.

I would finish Little Hearts and start Beyond whenever you finish. I would also do both 4 days a week instead of half speed.

Re: UPS delivered today! Have a question about BIGGER
Do you already have one copy of the Preparing to Build Student Text? If so you would only need one because students do not right in the book you have them do all of their written grammar in a composition book/notebook. For that level I do not use the TM but you can get it if you want.

Re: LHFHG or Beyond?
I would start with LHFHG. I would not do a guide with some one below the recommended age range. In my opinion it would be better to do LHFHG full speed followed by Beyond full speed. Bigger is quite a step up from Beyond and your dc will have an even harder time if they come to it from doing Beyond ...

Re: New Geo sneak peek?
Just loaded it again and the letters on the sample week still look wonky. Like a combo IS and some look like a combo TS or something else odd. Maybe it is just my computer.
