Re: Which book for Bible in CTC?
Okay, I was thinking about just using my son's Bible, but she mentioned something about name change on the other one. I was just wanting her recommendation for a child's Bible that would work with it, if the other is no longer in print.

Which book for Bible in CTC?
I'm understanding that we can't order the DK Family Bible, through HOD, correct? In looking at another website, I see the Family Illustrated Bible, by Sally Tagholm or the DK Family Illustrated Bible. Which one would work best along side the plans given for CTC?

Transcript help
As we are approaching 8th grade with one of our kids, I'm thinking about transcripts, and I have no clue. I would love it if any of you ladies with olders could show me what you use for this, and how to word things, and anything extra that you add. Do you add all the books they've read, and ho...

Re: Placement for CTC... Not sure....
Thank you Julie, and these awesome ladies! I will probably have more questions as I work on placing my other two kiddos, but glad we got one down! Looking forward to CTC!

Re: Placement for CTC... Not sure....
Oh good! That's encouraging to hear. Great idea to start with one box in cursive and progress to another. Thank you!

Re: Placement for CTC... Not sure....
Yes, it's just mostly the cursive that I am concerned about. I think everything else, he can do pretty well, or we can take a bit slower. I think I'm leaning more toward CTC.

Re: HOD for High School IS Enough!
That is so great to hear! We have done from LHTH through Bigger with our kids, and then took some time away. But, now I have one who will be in 8th this next fall, and high school is something I'm really thinking about. The wonderful books that HOD brings is drawing me back. :) I am so glad to hear ...

Re: Placement for CTC... Not sure....
He's done quite a bit of narrations too, and with Spelling You See this year, especially. It sounds like CTC, would be a good fit for him, if not having cursive down quite yet, isn't a hindrance. Thank you for the help!

Re: Placement for CTC... Not sure....
Yep, in his writing, I would say that he can write a paragraph if he sets his mind to it, and spelling is okay. We are using Spelling You See, level D this year, and he's actually improved quite a bit from where he was. So, maybe he isn't as reluctant as I thought. Not sure. I don't like to compare ...

Placement for CTC... Not sure....
I'm trying to figure out placement for my son, and just not sure. We have been a way from Hod for a little while, and looking to return. I just love the books! We are working on cursive right now, but not at writing sentences yet. He will be 11, is a independent reader, a little bit of a reluctant w...
