Re: As we move into high school, the design of the guides...
I would definately like everything to be planned out per day. 2 of my students have made the transition to college without any difficulty in this area. I understand the thought process (and see the merit), I just think the guides already teach this in their unique presentation. I think I lean towar...

Re: What is one thing you're enjoying that surprised you?
Rev2Rev is all great, and I knew we would enjoy the "Who is God?" book, but I didn't realize how much. I love how it really starts some deep discussions about peoples' worldviews and how everyone makes decisions from their own worldview (whether it is Biblical or secular, etc.) It has come up a lot ...

I don't know if you get a tax return each year, but that is when I buy the bulk of our homeschool curriculum for the following school year. It usually comes in spring, which is perfect timing, and we know to just budget part of our return for school costs.

HELP! State Study (Rev2Rev) wk. 12 day 3
Our daughter is trying to do Ohio for the state study today, and the 50 States Under God book seems to have a misprint. On p. 15, under the facts section, only the first sentence is about OH, and then it goes into information about Louisiana (the next state). Are we missing something, or what have o...

This was my thought exactly! I love both formats for the reasons you mentioned, too, Carrie.TrueGRIT wrote:Carrie,
Just as food for thought, how would the idea of a brief weekly overview in front with the daily pages (w/ boxes ) work?
Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Re: I need help deciding: Weaver or HOD
Thank you Julie for the link to Carrie's post. That made me think! I'll have to read it to dh  One more question that came to mind: Weaver seems to be 'all subjects linked to the bible', where as HOD seems to be 'all subjects linked to history'. Am I right? Hi!! We used the Weaver many years ...

Awesome! Thanks for all the information and ideas! I found the microphone icon under the "utilities" section on my iPod, and it works for audio recording! (don't even need an external mike!) Thanks!!

Carrie--by recording on the iPod, do you mean a video? Or, is there a way to just record audio? (Great idea BTW!)

Re: What guides are you doing?
We're using Rev2Rev with our dd, and even though we are using it for 10th grade, she's actually still in the recommended age range for extensions, since she started it at 14 and is now 15. HOD has been such a perfect fit for us, and we're excited to have it all the way through high school! (She love...
