Quick question re: Exploring Planet Earth book in BHFHG ext.

Can anyone tell me if this book has color illustrations. The samples I have seen on CBD are b&w, but sometimes their samples are b&w copies. Not really all that important, just wondering...

Thank you so much, Carrie! You have been more than helpful answering all of my questions. The more I thought about it this weekend, the more at peace I felt about going with Bigger instead of Preparing Hearts. Doing MFW Adventures this year has been, *I* think, more along the lines of Beyond, as it ...

So sorry! They are currently in Pre-K and 2nd. My 2nd grader is currently doing MFW Adventures which is a broad overview of early American History and the 50 states. We are switching to HOD for next year. This is what I'm looking at and trying to figure out: '08-'09: LHFHG(Kinder) & PH (3rd g...

Thanks so much for your reply, Carrie! You are a real GEM! :!: I appreciate all the insight and experience you shared. It has really helped me narrow down my choices. The information you shared and your experiences with BJU were exactly the kind of information I needed to hear to help me make some d...

Hi Mary! This is a fun topic. I saw your first post over at HSR, and I thought, "I am 100% Olive!" However, since then, I have noticed some Betty tendancies... If I'm honest with myself, I have to admit that I do process through conversation, and then ponder. (But isn't that just part of being a WOM...

I agree with the previous poster, that I think it would be nice to have both available. If I had to pick only one, I would go for the daily 2-page spread. It's just too hard to follow a weekly layout on those off weeks when you have holidays, vacations, sick days, field trips, etc. There is much mor...

I think I'm a new HOD convert and I have some questions.

I was so excited to see Preparing Hearts up on the website this morning! I have been spending time looking up and reading the book summaries on Amazon. WOW! This looks exactly like the kind of study I have been searching for and have not found until now! Woohoo! This changes everything for next year...
