Thank you ladies for the words of encouragement. I have checked out HSLDA for legal information. It seems faily simple. My husband has accepted a job in NW Arkansas. I am looking to connect with families in this area. We will really close to the Ok border as well. I have some questions about homeschooling in AR. Thanks for reaching out.

Agreed! So thankful the Lord led us to HOD many years ago! :D Just wish I would have smart enough :? to start early, so all my children would have used only HOD

Each sneak peek is more exciting than the last! So thankful for HOD and the Austin family. Sure wish my oldest was starting this guide when it comes out...but we have a few years. Patience :wink:

One of the many reasons I LOVE HOD! So many items I want to include in our journey called school HOD schedules them in the manuals. Thanks Carrie for following the calling the Lord placed within you! You are a HUGE BLESSING and answer to prayer!

My 10 year old is doing CTC. He is doing 5a in Singapore, level 3 dictation and Rod and Staff 4.

We are doing RTR with ds 12, absolutely LOVING it! Next is CTC wtih ds 10 1/2, second time around for Mom and learning even more :wink: . Next we are finishing Beyond this week with ds 7 1/2, bitter sweet feeling. We will wait until January to start Bigger, too many interruptions with the holidays. ...

I have a 12 year old boy in 6th grade doing RTR, need to say we are not doing the Shakespeare section. He takes about 4 to 4 1/2 hours, when he is focused and on task! :wink: We are truly enjoying the year and learning ALOT. He does the storytime reading independently, the devotion section with Dad ...
