Re: Combining Jr/Sr High
After looking at the other options and showing them to my dh, we have decided to go ahead and try RevtoRev this fall. Yay! I am super excited. So I just need to figure out how to beef it up for high school and figure out what credits he will get. We are doing HOD for my two youngest as well, and the...

Re: Combining Jr/Sr High
Thanks for your reply :) I have been looking at all the previews for the high school guides, but I was counting on buying used, and I wont be able to do that. I guess one thing that I am unsure of is would the RestoRef, RevtoRev and MtMM count as world history and/or US history? If I can count one o...

Re: Cant decide where to start!
I guess actually all of those guides would work fine without the extensions. He is 12, so he is in the age range for all 3.

Re: Cant decide where to start!
Since they have the extension packages, my 7th grader could use any of the three I listed, lol. I thought about that, then realized that doesn't really matter. So that is why I am trying to decide where to start as a point in history.

I havent ordered from HOD before, except for a catalog. Will I get one, or do I need to ask for another?

Cant decide where to start!
I just cant decide what program to use for my 7th grader this fall. I am trying to keep in mind that he needs to do US History and World History in high school. He did ancients in 4th, middle ages in 5th, and a half a year of early modern last year (dont think he got much history, we just did Story ...

Combining Jr/Sr High
My two oldest are going into 7th and 9th this fall. I have never used HOD, but will be using it for my two youngest (4&6 this fall). I was wondering if it is at all possible to combine my two oldest for history still. In my state (CA) they are supposed to have US & World History with geography and G...

Re: help with 4 yr old
You could also choose to do it 1/2 speed - 3 days a week or something - and then it would take longer than a year to complete. This is what I was trying to do. We may do full speed for the summer since I skipped so much this school year. I have a little boy who is 3 yrs 10 months old, and we are do...

I have been planning on using LHFHG for my ds who will be 6 in Sept and LHTH for my ds who will be 4 in Oct. He doesnt know his alphabet sounds or anything - we havent worked on more than colors and shapes really. So I was thinking LHTH would be great for him, but then I was thinking maybe I should ...

Choosing Math
I have used Christian Light math in the past and liked it. I was wondering if anyone has used this instead of Singapore math? Or Saxon math? I am using Singapore for my Kinder, but Im not sure if I want to continue to use it. I am not a mathy person and I am worried Singapore will be difficult to he...

I wish there was a "like" button! lol. That really does sound great! My ds is very interested in experiments and the experiments seem really fun!
