Yep! CTC & RTR are the only guides that have R&S half speed. I still have so much to learn!

Really?? I was under the impression that it was half speed for R&S for all guides with CTC and later since they do add writing programs to those. Well, we are going to be in 4th grade in the fall. Plenty of time to figure it all out!

I'm going to the MACHE Fair in Frederick next weekend! I was sorry to hear HOD wouldn't be there also.

I asked the same question on another board. I just (today) bought some used A Beka Health books. I like Lynn H's idea of the books that are already used in the curriculum. I'll be doing Bigger in the fall, so there aren't any "health" type books to read in that curriculum. Rethinking things, I guess...

Thanks for your input! I know there is a lot of "writing" in Bigger, I guess I was concerned about creative writing, book reports and things of that nature. I will have my first homeschool review in May. I will get an idea of what my state/county is looking for then. Appreciate your advice!
