You will need duplicates of all the student notebooking sheets, the state study book, the Hebrews book, the Exciting World of Creative Writing, the science log book, and inventor pages. I think that's all, hopefully I'm not missing anything.

Re: Question about Writing......
Thank you, Carrie. I really appreciate you taking time away from writing to help me figure this out. I feel much better now about the choices for next year.

Re: Question about Writing......
Thank you, Julie. Carrie did say one focused on creative writing and the other on descriptive writing, but I am really curious if using WWTB would better prepare them for WWTB 2. Thanks so much for looking into it for me.

Question about Writing......
Hi everyone. :) I will be using Rev2Rev in the fall with my 6th and 7th grader, and need some help with choosing which writing book to use. Last year, in RTR, my older son used the IEW Medieval Writing Lessons as scheduled, but my younger son used IEW All thing Fun and Fascinating. The year before i...

Re: RtR1 - What are the consumable items?
Hi Dena. :) We are using RTR and are enjoying it so much! :D The Notebooking pages, the Shakespeare Notebooking pages, Singapore Math Workbooks, Hidden Treasures in Philippians, and the Medieval Writing lessons are all consumable. However, we don't write in the medieval writing book. I have my son d...

Re: Medieval Writing Lessons (RTR)
Hi tollhousemom. It looks like lessons 14, 15, and 21 are skipped. From what I can tell the rest are scheduled, but I'm not 100% sure.

Re: I'm nervous about RtR w/ dd...encourage me! :)
We are currently using RTR and are enjoying it so much! I'm sure you will too when the time comes for you to use it. Both my boys think the history reading is easier to comprehend this year in RTR than it was last year in CTC. I don't know why, but it could be that CTC was the first year for t...

I have been wanting to post the same question! I loved Julie's first devotional, and have been trying to patiently wait for her to release the next one.

Re: Would you use Extensions in this situation?
Hi Rebecca. I wouldn't use the extensions in your situation. If he was breezing through CTC without much of a challenge, then I might think otherwise. :) But since you said CTC, as written, has been perfect, then I would try RTR as written. If you feel it's too light after a few weeks, you could alw...

Hi Daph. :) I"ll try to answer some of your questions. :) Astronomy is covered thoroughly in RTR. About 14 weeks are spent using Apologia Astronomy. My boys love that book. :) In Preparing, a lovely book about constellations is used for a few weeks. Dinosaurs are covered in Preparing for several wee...

Re: Poetry in RTR
Yes, there is. One day each week is devoted to reading/studying one of Emily Dickinson's poems. Then, every 7 weeks or so, there are two weeks dedicated to memorizing one of the poems you have studied. I don't have my guide in front of me so I can't be specific on which weeks are set aside for memor...
