Ha-ha-ha-ha! ROFLOL!
Absolutely. I've screwed up so much...
Really a bummer.
Edited to add that this post was zero help.

Re: High school science from another guide?
Yes, you can get the science from another guide, since they're priced separately, but you would need the other guides' TM as well for scheduling.

Re: What is the "extra topic" in CTC?
Watercolor is part of poetry, not history, and as Lynn said, can be an extra subject of art.

Re: Writing/Need Encouragement
I apologize if this has been stated, but I didn't have time to read all the response. ;) In troubled areas, less is actually more. My dd is NOT good at math, and after my aversion to it, MUS has worked wonders. I had to let go of all what I wanted to accomplish as far as what I deemed to be enough i...

Re: WG narrations of Synge
Annaz, This is a great question! As we head into the high school years, the books do get more challenging and include more names, dates, places, etc. So, while I agree that this is a living book, I also agree that it has a more challenging feel to it with all of the factual information wound within...

That's great, LynnH! I love that your son is doing so well! I think it's also helpful that we see all those years of their work (and ours) come together in high school!

Yes, Lynn. I would agree as well that it is neater.
8arrows, I also had her type it on a paper that looks like what is there. It's an old parchment look, so it blends in!

WG narrations of Synge
So, while I'm in the mood to "question" LOL, I have another. We have completed Unit 2 and dd is doing quite well. Having said that I am reading ahead with A Book of Discovery and finding that that will be a hard book to narrate. I notice that in Unit 3 Day 3, I believe, Carrie walks them through a m...

Typing written narrations in high school
Is it wrong to type written narrations in WG? The reason I ask is, if they are to proof their writing and make sure they have what they need according to the skills list, it is easier to make any corrections than if it was hand written. You couldn't find you missed something then simply insert it. A...

Re: written narr in Preparing
What about having him write his short choppy sentences, then going back through and adding more descriptors? Doing it in two steps instead of thinking of it as a whole? Perhaps ask him questions to get him to add descriptors. What kind was it, how many were there, basic questions to show he can add ...

Re: example of poor thinking skills
What a good discussion here! :D It does sound like there are some important considerations to make that are unique to your dc's early childhood. I pray you get the help needed in clarifying what may be going on! On a side note, I will say that I find around ages 11 to 15 (notice I have 2 boys right...

Re: Kids with bad spelling starting written narrations
This will probably not be a popular answer, but here it goes anyway. First you said he doesn't really care. Then you mentioned that you're okay if everything isn't spelled correctly either. So I see two issues here. One that it doesn't seem to be too important and he can read into that. Two he shoul...
