Re: Need help with whether to start LHTH this year!

Thank you ladies. I think that is a great idea to start 3 times a week, I just forget that you don't have to cram it all in in 1 week!!!!!!!!! It's 5 days per unit. I am a bit too structured at times :-). That is what I will do and if he needs to speed it up half way through we will adapt. Thank you...

Need help with whether to start LHTH this year!

Hello, I am a one time user of LHTH, using LHFHG currently and moving to BLHFHG in the fall. Now, my question is for my 3 year old son whether to start him with LHTH this year. He seems ready when I look at the placement charts. He participates with (LHFHG) all Rhymes in Motion, history reading, sci...

Re: Week In Review (7-18-08)

We did Unit 23 (LHFHG) last week and had so much fun learning about the Pilgrims. We read "The Pilgrims of Plymouth" as our supplementary history and even my 3 year old enjoyed it with us. We also read "Pochahontas", but that was not as much of a hit. My son had been asking to read more during schoo...

Welcome back! I am so excited to know that I don't have to do the weeding out myself, but that I can trust your judgments as you lay them before the Lord. After convention I was all excited about using all this other stuff, but did not buy it and I am so glad. Now that I weighed it all against BLHFH...

cut binding

Hello, I am trying different things with it as well. My LHTH, I cut the binding and had them ringbind it and it was about $5.00 I have cut off the binding on my LHFHG and put all the pages in a plastic sleeve and than in a 3-ring binder. This is more expensive, but now I don't have to worry about ge...

Praying for you

Oh Carrie, what a surprise. I prayed this morning for you not even knowing of your grand project this weekend. Praise the Lord! He looks after you by having all of us intercede on your behalf. May He give you wisdom and show you what He thinks is important to put in the next book up. Blessings to yo...

Switched to Math U See

Hi, I have a ds that is 5 and we started LHFHG in February and are working through the Summer. He will be 6 in October and we will start BLHFH. I decide to switch to Math U See after I was done with 2A, because of my need to have help to teach math concepts for when we get to older grades. Later on ...
