Re: I am sooo overwhelmed!!!!

Thank you Julie! I was just having some doubting in what I was doing as well. I have to keep reminding myself academics is good, but it isn't the most important thing we teach. It is the stuff that can't be graded, seeking the Lord, growing in a deeper relationship with Him, and having a firm founda...

Re: I am sooo overwhelmed!!!!

I am praying for peace and Gods wisdom. This caused me great stress for a couple of years. I finally just gave it over to the Lord. He has given me peace and some direction. I still get stressed and have to remember the Lord has all under control. One thing that has helped me is keeping things very ...

Three Musketeers

Hi!
I was looking for a clean version of the Three Musketeers similar to The Count of Monte Cristo version that is in the world history guide. Does anyone know of any?

Re: Updated: Sneak Peek #1: New American History Guide

Carrie, Sorry I didn't give a better picture. She did the advanced EE in RevtoRev. We added Chemisty 101 dvd ( We watched it and talked about it, but that was it) to the MTMM and did what was written, I added one other dvd, R C Sproul economics, so with the dvds already in the guide and this additio...

Re: Updated: Sneak Peek #1: New American History Guide

Carrie, My daughter has completed MTMM science-9th grade. She is completing World History-Biology - 10th grade(we should be done with this mid September). At this point she would like to go to college, but she is unsure for what. It seems to change, but as of yet art, english, and business stand out...

Re: Updated: Sneak Peek #1: New American History Guide

Carrie, Thanks for the reply. I have been thinking about this some. I am pretty sure my husband could help her with any math issues that would come up. So a couple of ideas I had floating around my head is she could do the science as is with help from dad( I struggle in the math area). We could look...

Re: Updated: Sneak Peek #1: New American History Guide

Carrie, Thanks for working so hard to find a good fit. I have some questions. My daughter is currently doing Math u see Algrebra 1, she is only on lesson 5. Would this course be to hard for her to complete with not being done with Algrebra? She was pretty excited about the Chemistry that involved co...

Strange question

Ladies, My question is off topic regarding school, but does anyone mill their own flour? I am thinking about getting a grain mill, but I don't know much about them or on getting grain. I make our own bread, but just buy a lot of flour from the store. :D If you all have time, I would love to hear fro...

Summer ideas

Ladies I need your help. My brain is just blank. We have taken a week break until we start our lighter summer school schedule and our cooking ministry for church. We are 3 days into it, and my son(10) is going stir crazy. This is why I went to schooling year round. We don't have a lot of kids for hi...

Re: Dual enrollment

Oh Thank you ladies for taking the time to reply! I just needed to hear from others. I stay deep in the trenches, like many of you, but when I step out and see or hear what others are doing I get a bit jumpy. I have not had much peace with the idea of dual enrollment, but thought I needed to figure ...

Dual enrollment

Hello ladies. I am curious about dual enrollment. How would it work with the guides? It just seems like way too much work or are they just taking a class or two, and not doing something out of the guide. Why would you do this? If they are able to a couple of classes why not all? I am still trying to...

Re: Questions regarding typing vs writing in cursive

Thanks Ladies. I think I knew what needed to be changed. I realized it when I was reading another post. I felt bad I had let things go, but thankfully the Lord helped me see what needed to be changed. I just needed some other advice. Sometimes we are too close and are missing the bigger picture. So ...

Beefing up rev to rev

Could someone send me the link for beefing up RevtoRev for high school? Thanks. I looked but did see the most current one. I am not sure if I will add much, as I think my daughter is placed well and don't want to overload her.

Thanks!
