It's HOT here in TX. Unless we're swimming, we'll be indoors. Our kids are busy playing together and have been most of the day. :)

I'm glad to hear about the geography concepts tied in to the program, Carrie. That's one less thing I* have to come up with on my own. As it is, it seems you've covered SO many bases for us. I'm really excited to use your programs!

I, too, so appreciate the time and prayer you put into each of these books, Carrie. :-)

I'm also glad to hear that you'll be passing on SOTW.

God bless you, Carrie.

Our boy will be 10 in September and in 4th grade. We're considering Preparing for he and his sister going into 3rd grade.
I'll probably skip the extension package.

I love that Preparing has the Rod and Staff English scheduled out for me too! That's another reason it seems the right level for the children.

The reason I chose Preparing was because it uses the history spine that I want to use next year. (CHOW) It will be our first ...

We do relaxed history and science and traditional 3Rs. It seems to work for us so far. Will we HS all the way through? We'll ho...

New Here

Hi! I'm just now joining, but have read posts here for a while. We're going to use Preparing next year. This will be our first time to do world history and I'm grateful for Carrie's plans to carry this out!
