Carrie or Julie-History extension for 7th grade

Carrie, I know that you have recommended The 5000 Year Leap and The Federalist Papers for 9th grade in Rev to Rev. My DS is starting 7th grade next month in Rev to Rev. He is a bright 12 year old, however, I didn't know if that extra reading would be too much for him. What would be your suggestions?...

Carrie,
My ds Joel wants to send you a copy of his final draft from Medieval History Writing. He just finished Lesson 19 on knights.
If he can, how would he go about this? Thanks.

I have the book Winning His Spurs. I was told that it is the same book as The Boy Knight. Does it matter which one my ds's read.
Thanks,

Mystery of History

Carrie,
I was wondering why Mystery of History II, which includes the medival era, is not being used. I'm sure you have a good reason, however I don't remember anything being said about it. Would it be too much to incorporate it wth the other books in RTR?
Thanks,
Diane

Re: Maybe this is a secret... ;-)

Carrie, Teaching and training our kiddos with a Christ-centered currriculum is so important, and it is a lot easier with HOD. You have helped a lot of families. Thank you so much. I'm keeping my three boys in HOD straight through high school. When the geography guide comes out, they will be in 9th, ...

Re: Curriculum pet peeves - Sorry, I just can't relate!

I am so grateful for HOD. Homeschooling is challenging sometimes, and it is so nice to have a wonderful curriculum in place that meets the needs of my family, is Christ-centered, and comes with the support of Mike, Carrie, Julie and a great group of ladies. This is heaven on earth. No pet-peeves or ...
