Re: Beginning Wisely English for Bigger?

My dd will be 8 when we start Bigger (January 2013). She has currently done FLL 1 and 2, WWE 1, BJU English 2, and Abeka Language 3. Should I put her in Beginning Wisely ? She can write great sentences and knows ending punctuation (commas still trip her up) She can pick out basic verbs, nouns, help...

Re: Placement for 5 year old

You are welcome!
Also, I am guessing that some others may come along and be able to offer some help so that you can get settled with placement!
Best to you-Candice

Re: Placement for 5 year old

I understand what you are saying. I think if you have pondered the placement (and it sounds like you have) and you found that she fits squarely into LHFHG, then that is the place to start. Re: Placement for 5 year old

When you say the K material is too easy for her, which resources are you speaking of, specifically?
Just wanting to get a better idea of what her level is. Thanks!

Re: Placement for 5 year old

Hello, I am not sure if you have considered this yet: This Fall you could use Little Hands to Heaven for the Bible portion, the devotional, and the hands-on activities. You could then choose the K options that are recommended in Little Hearts for His Glory to use along with it. Then next school year...

Re: Paints we love from Crayola

Thank you very much.
My daughter loves art/drawing.
She drew this macaw yesterday, she has an interest in them all of a sudden. We don't own a macaw but they sure are beautiful creatures!

Re: Help with LHFHG Unit 3 Day4

Hmmm... No, there is no assigned reading out of the Little Pilgrims book for that day according to my guide. The previous day does have the History for Little Pilgrims scheduled using pages 23-24. My Reading About History box for LHFHG Unit 3, Day 4 is: Reading About History Read the Bible stories f...

Re: Help with LHFHG Unit 3 Day4

Hi Laura,

In my guide, the page numbers, 32-38 refer to the Family-Time Bible, not History for Little Pilgrims.
Could that be where the confusion comes in?
