Combining storytime if you are using two guides.

Use readers that you already have for DITHOR (maybe books your older one has read, but not your younger.) This is one great advantage to HOD- the reading choices are flexible- YOU choose the books in each genre.

I think most of the posts that refer to help in planning and scheduling are regarding planning out which guide to use with which child and scheduling out your day. (which subjects to do when in the day). HOD really IS pretty much open and go!

The main reason I posted the link to the other thread was the response by Carrie as to how she makes her own schedule- breaking it down by Independent Work, Teacher-directed, etc. I found this so helpful and this is how we schedule our 2 programs.
