Re: World Geography World Religion has a new book

If I might ask...why is the book being replaced? Is Japan Diary going out of print?

Re: ACE Biology DVD's....

Just a little follow up..... I recently received an email response/update on my question, from ACE. They stated that the new 4th edition Biology will be available on July 1st, but only the first half of the course, with the second half being made available later this fall. They will not have DVD vid...

Re: ACE Biology DVD's....

I've used the ACE Biology with my oldest, just using the lab dvd alongside, and it worked great. I just wanted the videos for this particular child as it would work well.

Thanks mom24boys! You've been very helpful. It's too bad they won't have these anymore. Thanks for your help in finding answers on this. :)

Re: ACE Biology DVD's....

Any word on this? Is HOD going to suggest a different course to use if the videos are no longer available? Or can you recommend another resource to use in its place? Thank you!

ACE Biology DVD's....

I noticed these are discontinued, and are scheduled to be updated in 2019. Any word on when this will be available? Or how extensive an update (pace booklets, too)?

Thanks and blessings! ;)

Re: WG literature questions

Just adding in that Ragged Dick was such a good book! I ended up reading it aloud on a family road trip, as my son didn't think he'd have time for this title. I never want them to miss a book, because they're all so good. Even my younger kids were begging for "one more chapter." The whole family lov...

Re: New book in CTC....The Radical Book for Kids?

Lisa, It's interesting that you asked about this book, as we are using it right now with our fourth son (after having done Genesis: Finding Our Roots three different times with our three older sons). :D I did thoroughly enjoy Genesis: Finding Our Roots every time I went through it, yet I will admit...

Sure Nealewill, I'm curious myself about why Carrie chose this particular book, and what it will bring to the Creation to Christ study.

New book in CTC....The Radical Book for Kids?

Next school year will be our fifth run through the Creation to Christ guide with our youngest. :D It's bittersweet to approach the last time doing a guide, but mostly sweet! ;) In looking through the packages on the website, I noticed the Genesis Finding Our Roots book has gone out of print, and a n...

Re: Kids getting older

I understand that feeling.....last spring I ordered the *final* high school guide for my oldest! It's been going great this year, and he's going to graduate in May. My youngest one is using Preparing Hearts this year, which is where we began with my oldest, so many years ago. I can't believe...

Re: Anyone else? (PHFHG reading schedule)

I'm chuckling as I read this, as yesterday my 4th grader asked me why every day can't be reading Grandpa's Box! Lol! It's my 5th and final run through this guide, and I'm loving every minute.....even the CHOW readings! :D So many good books, and so many good lessons built into all of these gui...

Re: World History Literature

Another thought, especially since life is very full right now, is maybe just slowing down the lit to half speed for a while. It would give you both some time to adjust to the new things going on, and wouldn't be overwhelming time-wise. :)
