Vocabulary
Hi again! :) Last question (I think). I am just curious about something else. I've noticed that there is a vocabulary box one day each week in Preparing (not only for increasing vocabulary, but also to teach children dictionary skills), but no Vocab box in CTC? Is there a reason I am missing? Should...

Write with the best
Ok, we r not loving "Write with the best". Maybe I am speaking too soon. But Any body else not love it and dropped it/went with another writing program? Or should we just give it a chance and continue a few more weeks/months?. We r only on unit 2. If u chose something else, what did u choose? TIA!

A Child's Geography
Hi, everyone! I just have a question about A child's geography? I don't have a printer right now. I am curious if that's going to affect the program a lot or if we can still use the program successfully without it? I do see in two of the days (so far) that we will need to print something out...We ar...

R&S English
Hi all! I am just curious if anybody else's kids really dislike/dreads R&S English? Did u continue making them do it anyway or looked for something else? And if so, what did u choose? TIA!

Determining Dictation levels?
Hi, ladies! I am beginning CTC and Preparing with my dc and was wondering how to determine which dictation level to use for them. Do the levels correspond to actual grade level? My ds is in grade 6 but there is no level 6. My dd is in grade 4 and she has never done any dictation. Only spelling lists...

Re: Skipping english 3?
Thanks so very much ladies! Since my son will be doing CTC, I guess I should just have him do English 4 daily so that he doesn't take 2 yrs to complete it and can begin 5 next year. Thx again!

Skipping english 3?
Hi , all! My ds used english 2 about two yrs ago. Due to life circumstances, we stopped doing all of HOD and he really wasn't doing any formal grammar for probably a year. Recently, he began doing some grammar work in a textbook/workbook we got from Costco. But my ds is now 6th/7th grade/12 yrs old....

Re: Extension books for DITHOR?
Ok, that sounds great! I am sure if I look over the book packs for DITHOR they r equally as good . I think I was encouraged awhile back to get the 4/5 level workbook even though my ds is 6th grade. So would I also need the 4/5 books or the 6/7?

Extension books for DITHOR?
After a lot of going back and forth between Preparing and CTC for my dc a few mths ago, I finally decided on CTC. However, I really liked the extension books for preparing and think my ds would enjoy them. So just wondering if they can be read/used for the DITHOR program?
TIA...
