Would it be alright to change guides 9 units into the school year? I love this curriculum and want it to work for all my kids. I don't think this would be much of an issue. Many people don't have their guides line up with the calendar of the school year. Many just stop at whatever unit they were on...

You could also do Beyond as written 4 days a week. that takes 9 weeks into the next year, then if you do Bigger 4 days a week, that adds another 9 weeks. You'd end up spacing Beyond and Bigger out over a 2 1/2 year period.
