Re: Singapore 5a schedule?
I am in the same boat. I really need the Singapore 4A/4B schedule, but we're doing Bigger and it's not in there. If you wouldn't mind sharing what your schedule was with this, I would sure appreciate it. Most say that one lesson per day is about right, but I don't know for sure.

Re: Clarification and info
With science, there are experiments twice a week. Then for history, each week you'll do the following: geography activity, timeline, art, vocab (not really hands on), and a history activity. I've heard that you should get other books for DITHOR. I was concerned that it would be a lot more reading if...

Re: Thinking of using HOD
Seeing as BHFHG is about a 3-3 1/2 hour day, I would say you could add in whatever you wanted, with plenty of time to spare. It appears that most moms can begin HoD in the morning and finish by lunchtime, so if you were to add in more science, you would just have a longer school day. It's your homes...

Re: Can someone help me with DITHOR?
I was super confused about Dithor too, until I bought the manual and looked through it (just yesterday in depth). I ADORE it. I love how it formats each day of their reading. Some days they just read their chosen books, some days we discuss their book, and some days they do parts of the Student book...

Picking Options in DITHOR for each genre
I picked up Dithor today and I am in LOVE! I love to read and so do my children, so I can't wait to begin this program. I only have to wait 4 LONG months..... Anyway, I noticed that on day 15, the teacher is supposed to choose which option the child/ren do after they have read their genres. Do any o...

3 Kids in BHFHG....one half speed?
I have 3 kids and I'm going to homeschool next year for the first year. I bought bigger for all3. One will be 11and going into 5th grade, one will be 9 going into 4th grade, and one will be 7 going into 1st grade. My 3rd falls into both BHFHG and Beyond, so I just chose to put him with the older two...

Thanks, everyone. I think it worked out to about 4 lessons per week for us too.

Carrie, and everyone, I apologize for posting that list. I didn't know it was a no-no. So sorry about that.

English 3 Beginning Wisely with Bigger
Does anyone have a schedule for Beginning Wisely with Bigger? I realize it says to use English 2, but my son is going to do Bigger next year and he’s ready for English 3. It isn’t listed as an alternative in the back of the Bigger Manual.
