I have The Reading Lesson for my 5 yr old - I don't really like how the book is laid out. I've never tried anything else though. I am new to HOD too and plan to start with it this fall with my kids - I asked this same question about why it is called Heart of Dakota. Love how the curriculum has a focus to reach children's hearts - the most important thing!

Sorry for such a simple question but this is all new to me and I haven't held a guide in my hands yet, although they're on order!

Does HOD have a system for test scores and/or record keeping for each child?
