Need some encouragement...Sorry, not on topic

I've been struggling getting school done lately, and I just wanted to ask for some encouragment if that's OK? (I hope so, please let me know if it's not). It's not HOD, we are really enjoying that, and are working through Bigger. But, we've just had a lot going on lately. I started babysitting unexp...

that's the one we'll go back to-Prima Latina. :-) Do you find adding foreign language adds much time to your day? Do you work on it every day, or just a few days a week? Hoe so you like the Rosetta Stone? I am thinking of that for my (now) high schooler, but it's so blamed expensive! I might get gr...

Hi Martha, I am doing Bigger with my just turned 7 year old. She struggles with writing and there is quite a bit of writing in Bigger. I didn't want to do Beyond because she is ahead in other areas and I also wanted to combine my 9 year old in the same program. So, after lots of good advice here on ...

Thanks Carrie, that's good to know. I too can't wait to see what you do choose to use.

Thank you for all the hard work you do making this curriculum available for us all to use.

Another future programs question

I was just wondering if it has been said anywhere yet what the basis or spine for the history component of the future programs will be?

I may have missed it or it may not have been decided yet.

I've been looking into MOH and SOTW and it's made me curious.

Which bible version does HOD use?

I have noticed that the memory verses in my bible are different from HOD. I normally use NKJV. Can someone tell me which bible version HOD uses?

Thanks

Then v's Than

I'll apologise now since this is slightly off topic, sorry  . I'm wondering if this is an American English v's an Australian English (which is more British) language variation or if it is a typo? In Bigger, we are on Unit 2 and the poem (The Ship that Sails) uses the word then the way I would ...

Thanks for all your speedy responses.

I must have missed that in the introduction Carrie. Ooops! I'm glad I posted about this now instead of pushing my poor dd through it any longer.

I'll sit with her and do it orally for now.

Thanks again :D

Copywork in Bigger

All the writing and copywork in Bigger (most of it is in the R & S grammar) is driving my poor dd6 (almost 7) to tears. She struggles with handwriting, has poor pencil grip and it takes her FOREVER to copy things down.I know she is still young, but I do suspect she may have dysgraphia. There does se...
