LOVE Little Hands to Heaven - THANK YOU
I just can't thank you for this program enough, truly from the bottom of my heart. Well, we're very freshly into it (just finished day 3 of unit 1, today), but, I have to say I am in instant love. My DD is 3.5, and I've been wanting to start doing a little preschool work with her. She is extremely s...

Spread out LHTH? Or do it twice?
I'd like to start LHTH with my DD (3.5) right away, but I'd like to spread it out to last until she's 5, at which time we'll start LHFHG. Has anyone ever done this? What sort of schedule did you take? The other thing I've wondered, is maybe I should just do it straight through, but then do it again ...

Science Topics in Beyond?
Is there a link somewhere that shows the science topics covered each week in Beyond? Or would someone be willing to share? I wanted to start pulling together some extra resources/books etc... so that we can add in as we want (my son likes science every day, lol).

Go with Beyond or Bigger?
Okay, we started with Little Hearts this year for our 6 year old (grade 1), but honestly, we quit, because it was too behind him, and we were having to supplement so much. It just wasn't worth it for all the extra prep work, resources etc... So we've been winging it this year using different resourc...

LHTH with 3 year old, some questions
I'm contemplating using LHTH with my 3 year old daughter, who has ASD (full eval not done yet, but looking like Apserger's). Now, she has 4 hours of ABA therapy every day, from 12-4, and they cover a lot of preschool stuff, but I guess I just want to do something with her, personally... does that ma...

Re: What to do with a young 4 year old after LHTH?
Great question, I've wondered this myself! I've been tempted to do it with my 3 year old this year, but was wondering what we would do next year.
For those who repeated it, did you find you, or the child, got bored, doing so many of the same things over again?

So thankful for LHFHG!
We just started LHFHG this week, we're on day 4, this is our first time ever using HoD, and we are in love. What a peace, I love how open and go it is, having everything planned out, and my son is loving all the activities, even the readings, and he is loving the Reddy Fox book! My son has sensory p...

Math Suggestions - Age6/Grade 1
I'm struggling with math for my son. Math has been an issue ever since we started, somewhat. My son is extremely visual-spatial, and abstract concepts are difficult for him, thus math can present a challenge. Concepts like ordinals, forget it. He has to see something, to be able to explain it. And e...

Re: First official day of "school" with LHFHG
Congrats! I'm looking forward to soon starting this with my own sensory son (6 years old). Would love to connect with another sensory mom using the same program, if you want to send me a message!

New to board, starting with LHFHG
Hi, thanks for adding me! I'm a mom of many titles: Catholic, Canadian, Special Needs etc... lol. I just purchased LHFHG to use with my 6 year old son starting in September for grade 1. I am feeling so blessed to be able to start using this curriculum. We'll be tweaking a bit - since we're Catholic ...
