Re: 4 in Preparing? How would my day look

I guess I was thinking about Preparing becasue we really need/want to do Am. Hist this year. We have done more ancients and medival, and we just moved to VA last year, so there are lots of fun history opportunities. I like it when we are all in the same place for history....hmmmm I have another curr...

My 16 year old call him
"cutie-pa-tutie"...and I want you to see why!

an eventful Friday...medical update

I don't want to make this a medical board, but some of you have been so kind as to show interest in our one year old w/ microcephaly. He is doing incredibly well in lots of ways, but feeding is still a huge issue. He is 15 months old and can't keep down foods that are thicker than puree. And he does...

Just thought I'd add my 2 cent's worth in here. Thank you, moms, for walking this road with me. And thank you for speaking up about it. Congratulations on your dd's achievements, W2W! I had my dd evaluated by a ed/pych at our university. He agreed, in writing, that hsing her was the best educational...

medical update...and 2nd and 3rd box days!

With all the flurry of dr activity, we have't offically started HOD yet. Not Even unofficially. But no surgery looms on the horizon. HUGE sigh of relief...for now. Three feeding related tests later, we don't have any answers as to why he can't get things down. Two possibilities seem to exist. 1. he ...

I went to public school, and just loved learing. I was a bit frustrated in high school, as I didn't go to a school that had much to challenge academically if you were not a math/sci person. I did feel like I had to "fight" my education alot, and be very "on guard". Going to a Christian college, I fe...

Lefty's come in handy when teaching their right handed sibs to tie their shoes! They don't have to mirror at an example!

But they really do also THINK differently...at least mine does!

our little guy

thanks for the prayers. He is one, has microcephaly (small brain) and is doing incredibly well. This little guy who was mostly unresponsive to his enviroment in April is walking, very social, interactive and happy! God has been gracious. He would have graciously seen us through if things didn't turn...
