Thank you all for your responses and taking the time to help me understand all of this. We are going to start using Beyond in March for both of the girls and we'll finish out the school year with my son using the curriculum we already have. We are still unsure of what we are going to do in the Fall....

Thank you all for your input. I do think we will order Beyond for our girls and start sometime this month. What would you suggest for their LA? Right now we are over halfway through First Language Lessons 1st grade. Should I just continue on with that and not follow the boxes? As for my 13 y/o, I'm ...

I am new to HOD so if this has been answered already, I apologize. When is this guide expected to be out? We are switching to HOD in the Fall for my 2nd and 3rd graders and am still unsure about our 8th grader. Thanks!

My suggestion would be a hefty rubbermaid type bin that carries all the books needed in it and you just send the bin with the kids each time. I might suggest, if it's not too overwhelming, that the parent without the child read ahead for the week so you know what the other is teaching and will be a...
