We're doing our hieroglyphics in clay today. It says to use half of the clay that we made yesterday. Do we need to save the other half for another day or can we go ahead & do something with it?

You might want to let your child look at the dictation levels. I was surprised a few days ago when my son was looking at the book with me & said that he wanted to try a harder level of dictation than I had planned.

We won't start Preparing until next week so I'm not speaking from experience. Could you possibly make Vocabulary 1 word a day every day?
