AWESOME pictures. And, yes, Mary I did go to some PPEA things. But, my dd were only babies when we lived there 99'-03' and I hadn't had my sweet sons yet. It is a small world.

I miss Clearwater! Lots of homeschool support!!

Thanks for the pics. So, cool! :D

Mary,

That sounds so great. We have used Barry's wonderful books for the last three years in our curriculum. I would love for my dd to do one of his workshops.

I hope your son as fun and hang in there! Next week you'll be back at it.

MamaMary -- Question about Singapore and your 7 yr. old?

I have a 7 yr. old dd and I have her in Horizons Math 1 right now. I love the looks of Singapore but looked at the placement test and think she would place in 1B but maybe 1A. I would have to give her the test to see for sure. Is your 7 a newer 7 year old, does that make sense. Mine turned 7 in Nov....

Question about math - Singapore -- Are you using it?

Hi, Sorry I have already posted today put I have another question. I have always used Horizon math in the past. But, I am considering using Singapore with my now 2nd grade dd. Did you switch to the Singapore math or did you stick with your math curriculum? If you are using Singapore what do you like...

Day #1 with LHFHG and BHFHG!!! It went great.

WE are basically finished for the day and I was so happy to see everything go so smoothly on the first day -- that never happens. Two observations: #1 I can't believe my almost 4 year old caught on to as much as he did. I am doing LHFHG for my just turned 5 ds and my littlest guy keep up so wonderfu...

Okay, I got this with my order on Friday and already love it! We have just recently moved and I now live in miltary housing with no homeschooling families around. I feel a bit isolated because all the children in our neighborhood go to the DOD school on base. WE are sort of frowned upon because of o...

THANKS ALL

Thank you MamaMary, Water2wine and Imercon! All of your suggestions are so great. I am checking out the headsprout and I just dusted off some old books on tape we had not listened to in awhile and she has been listening to them for the past hour and half. She is such a determined little girl. I wish...

Thanks so much Melanie. I should have mentioned that my dd has worn glasses since she was 2. She has poor muscle development in one of her eyes. She just went to a new prescription 2 weeks ago and I was really hoping to see some improvement. My dh thinks she has improved. I am just too close to the ...

Hi All! I am new and I have questions!

Hello- I am hs our four children, ages 9, 7, 5, 3 1/2. I am struggling with our 7 year old and her reading abilities. I have used A Beka and now we are trying Phonics Pathways. I had great success with A Beka phonics with our first child but not with our second. She is just now able to slightly read...
