Re: homeschool and husbands

wow! i am very encouraged to hear how similar our stories are. i am going to get that book, "already gone" as this is already how i feel often times about my daughter who is in 7th grade private school. even though it is a wonderful school it isn't home and i realize my time with her is so short. i ...

Re: i think this is a great idea

i feel like adding in dithor and cheerful cursive will also make it challenging for a 2nd grader. we will be switching to singapore math so i will also be going back to singapore 1a and b with the activities as written in the beyond guide. we will do math everyday until i get him caught up with wher...

Re: Math Options

i decided to go with hod about a year ago for our first year of homeschooling. i saw that i was able to pick my own math program. i chose horizons just because some of my friends were using it. i realized the hands on math activities written in the guide were not corresponding with the math in horiz...

Re: Spelling in Beyond ?

Re: Preparing with a 5th grader

i just ordered cheerful cursive to use with my 10ds who is currently in phfhg. he hasn't done any of the lessons in cursive even when it specifies because he is so uncomfortable writing cursive. i did insist he copy the draw and write through history paragraphs in cursive though he struggled greatly...
