Geography Guide for non artist? Carrie or Julie?

Hello, I know that the new guide is not out yet and although I have looked at the samples for Mapping the World Through Art I am a little nervous about the amount of drawing required in the new guide. My ds is just not the artsy type and even though he has accomplished all the drawing in the past gu...

Great Sneak Peek! I am just wondering if the first edition would be ok to use?

Thanks and looking forward to seeing the book list with this! :D

Re: As we move into high school, the design of the guides...

I am enjoying reading all the responses, but haven't made my way through all of them as of yet. I have to say that the daily grid is one of the main reasons we love HOD so much! Like others have said, the weekly grids have a tendency to overwhelm. My kids and I love seeing at a glance what we need t...

Re: Transcripts

Julie,
Just a quick question....with the extensions, didn't I hear that MTMM would be high school worthy?

Thanks,
Sherry

Re: Revival to Revolution--Science and History coincide?

Thanks so much, Tiffini, for taking the time to respond. I have been hoping that someone who had some insight would help me out. I know that Carrie and Julie are busy with conferences and their dad so I didn't want to expect them to respond. :) I know that the Lord will show me what I am supposed to...

Re: History and science extensions with CtC and others.

Hi Julee, I just want to echo what everyone is saying about placement. I had my 4th grader in CTC for a while, but I was doing the reading for both dc. I had the chance to put her back in Preparing when we were around unit 21 in CTC and I took it. I can't tell you how much that changed school for bo...

Revival to Revolution--Science and History coincide?

Hi, I have a question about Rev2Rev and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. :) My ds will be using this guide in the fall and I am wondering if the science/inventor study time periods follow the history time period being studied. For instance, would the study about inventor J...

Re: notebook for preparing

Yeah, they have pretty border around them and different size writing spaces so it works for younger kids and older elementary.

Hope it is ok to post the website.....Notebookingpages.com

Re: notebook for preparing

There are not student notebooking pages for Preparing. The beautiful pages begin in Creation to Christ, the guide after Preparing. :D But we used pages from NotebookingPages.com and were very pleased with the results. My dd loved having something to work on that was "special" and as I just finished ...

Rev2Rev Science~Exploration Education kits?

Hello, I am hoping for a bit of clarification on what to purchase for the EEC kits. My ds will be using the program next year in 8th grade. I think, from my reading, that I need to choose "Option 2" of the advanced kit which will include one advanced logbook. From what I understand, my dd, who will ...

Re: Sneak Peeks for Revival to Revolution?

Thanks, Carrie. I did try that link yesterday and received the same response so now I will try it again. I continued searching and was able to find one sneak peek on my own so I knew there must be more. My ds will be so happy! :D

Off to go check out the link!

Blessings,
Sherry

Sneak Peeks for Revival to Revolution?

Hi,
My ds is very excited about MTMM because I have been showing him the sneak peeks, but first he gets to enjoy Rev2Rev next year. I am wondering if there is a consolidated place for the sneak peeks from Rev2Rev that I can show him? :D

Thanks and have a blessed week,
Sherry

Re: Help me reorganize Rev to Rev

We are doing unit 14 of RTR and my ds tells me at least once a week how much he is enjoying it. For organization I simply have the books he is currently using on the bookshelf and the rest put away in a tub. He loves getting out new books as we need them. This has eliminated books getting lost. We h...
