Re: LHFHG Singapore Math activities?

Here's the thing: No one said anything bad about Carrie OR HOD. There's no need to circle around those of us willing to voice our frustrations in a civil manner trying to make us feel guilty for daring to speak up. There were many customers displeased with this decision, and like I mentioned, NO com...

Re: LHFHG Singapore Math activities?

Carrie, Thanks for your hard work in getting these new math plans done! (In your free time, right??). :D. I'm another one wondering when the half- price exchange needs to be made. We've got a couple years before we need it, but I am looking forward to using it again with my little guys. :D Dusty, y...

Re: LHFHG Singapore Math activities?

No one said printing a new edition every 7-9 years was unreasonable. :)

I'd even pay a small fee for the PDF file if it helped.

Re: LHFHG Singapore Math activities?

I have not taken away from the time and effort that Carrie and her family put into this curriculum. However, no curriculum is above feedback from its customers and no curriculum has users that ALL purchase straight from the company all the time, every time. That's just not how it works. If the compa...

Re: LHFHG Singapore Math activities?

I will say that I'm more than a little disappointed with HOD's choice to charge customers for this update, even if at half price. That just isn't economical to many. Also, to people like me who have LOVED and bragged and actually convinced other homeschooling families to give HOD a try, but didn't b...

Re: Question about using LHTH with a 3 year old.

I did LHTH with both of my oldest two starting right after their 3rd birthdays. It was perfect for that age and I plan on using it with my 2yo when she turns 3 later this summer. My oldest DD went through it 2x, the first at age 3 using the younger options and the second time at age 4 using the olde...

Re: Can dithor replace story time?

My dd is in Beyond this year and started the ERs last year in LHFHG, so she was ready to start the next level this year. We just finished the last ER in the last two weeks and have started the DITHOR Level 2 book pack. I've decided that she is too young for DITHOR as a whole, so I'm just having her ...

Mismatched book and guide

Hmm. I think I might have the wrong edition of Stories of the Pilgrims for my Beyond TM. The readings have seemed a little off for the last week or so and then today in Unit 7, Day 4, the Science Exploration box said to look at a picture on page 80 in the book and there is no picture there. There is...

Re: I Can't Decide! Help!

Thank you all for your suggestions! I think I might be leaning towards keeping with HOD, but maybe every 4 weeks or so, taking a week off and doing one week of geography or something similar. I was planning on using a geography curriculum geared to K-2, so I wasn't really worried about it being over...

I Can't Decide! Help!

I thought I had figured out what I want to do next year, but I just don't know. My DD is asking to do a year of world geography next year with her brother (he doesn't want to do it. lol) which would mean taking a year off of HOD and coming back the next year. Part of me thinks this could work becaus...
