I know we won't get done LHFHG before June even with no breaks. We school 4x/week. So what I am going to do is finish it up when we start back up in August. Then start BLHFHG once we are done the work in Little Hearts.

We're actually using CLE math and I love it. I don't think we'll be switching for now...just curious to see what everyone was using.

We're still a ways till until 15 but great tip. I'll keep this in mind when we get to that point, sometime next year.

I do not like schedules at all. It stresses me out. I much prefer a routine.

Once we are done with LHFHG (grade 1) we'll be moving on to Beyond LHFHG and will start R&S English 2. I was wondering if I need to buy the Bigger guide which has the English scheduled in that or would I be fine without it?

I think in general cds sound so much better than tapes. Can't help you with your question since we have the cds for the Singing Bible....

No, we just do our own thing. 4-5 weeks of school, then 1 week off, with some variation. I know we'll take the month of June off and maybe start math up in July and the rest of the program in the beginning August. Won't start school with my son till after Labor Day though.
