OK, I have contemplated doing 3 this year, but I am going to wait. Our 2 yr old will be 3 on the 20th. I am going to wait until next year to get LHTH for her. But the cool thing I did last night was put on our "schedule" to have our other 2 girls "do school" with her right now. It will be just 15min...

Oh the day came! When the mailman pulled up to our mail box the children were glued to the window. My husband went out to get the packages. The children and myself were eagerly waiting for him to come back in but he stayed and talked to the mailman for about 5min. He was talking to him about homesch...

I have Language Lessons for the Very Young Vol 2. My daughter (who will be 8 in Aug) did it this past year. There isn't much instruction at all in terms of grammar. There is picture study (which is nice), narration, poetry, copywork , and a little grammar thrown in. We aren't going to be using Langu...

Two programs are doable and not crazy. Both of those programs have things being done independently (more with Preparing). I am doing 2 programs this year (Bigger and LHFHG). In a few years I may be doing 3. If you have prayed about it, showed what is in each program to your husband and child...

I plan on using LHFHG for K and 1st for the same child. I am just going to add the 1st grade materials to it for next year plus the emerging readers. She will be 5.5 yrs old this school year and I just believe that would be better for her. It would also make it an easier transition for her to go int...

This will be our first year doing HOD anything but I have been looking at it for years. Yes, we will be doing Bigger with our 7 yr old (will be 8 at the end of Aug) and she will be starting 3rd grade. I decided to get the Singapore 2A/2B even though she is doing 2A/2B in another math curriculum (Mat...
