I am going to be doing beyond next school year......

with my 2nd/3rd grade dd----then if all goes well we will continue with the Bigger. Will this be too repetitive for her? I am not sure about doing American History 2 years in a row!

Are you going to do the emerging readers with her? Many of those books are on the upper 2nd and 3rd grade level so they could work very nicely for your reading program. There are discussion question in the appendix of the guide that go with the readers, along with some other suggestions for readers...
