Re: Roll Call 2023/2024?

I also wanted to add that I tried a flip phone for 6 months this year! I really wanted to make it work, but long story short, I’m back to a smart phone. I wish you all the best in your flip phone journeys!

Re: Roll Call 2023/2024?

Hey, everyone! My 6 year old will be starting Beyond this fall. This is our third guide, and we are absolutely loving each year. It has been so fun to watch him grow in the different areas! I remember at one point last year looking at Beyond in the catalog and thinking, how in the world will he be r...

Re: Sensitive Topic - Is the Bible Infallible

Jaime, One of my favorite theologians, RC Sproul came from a liberal Christian background (growing up). He started Ligonier Ministries, and the Lord has greatly used that ministry to minister to me. They have a great website and app that you could use. Some other people I would recommend you read or...

Re: LHFHG for an Active 5 YO

My little guy loves Pokémon, and sometimes I tell him he needs to catch 3-5 Pokémon really quickly as a quick brain break lol. He loves it, and he is jumping and running around. I’ve never done this, but another idea would be to set a timer and see if he can catch his Pokémon before the timer goes o...

Re: LHFHG for an Active 5 YO

I am actually finishing up LHFHG with my very active now 6 year old! It has been such an amazing fit for him. I definitely think my son processes information through movement. I allow him to move as long as he can narrate the passage back to me (very simple and informal narration). Sometimes he is j...

Re: Questions on new catalog and guide

Carrie, Thank you for the update! We are finishing our last week of LHFHG. So many memories have been made using that guide! We are going to take a break from the time we finish LHFHG to the time when Beyond is ready to ship 😊. I’m due with a baby boy in October, so we will take a break when he arri...

Questions on new catalog and guide

Do we know when the new catalog will be released? I know it says sometime this summer, but I’m curious if there’s a target release date? I’m excited to get the new one! I always order 5 catalogs and pass them out to other people. So many people haven’t heard of HOD, and they get so excited when I te...

Re: Sneak Peek: New Elementary Math Choices

These look like great choices! Beyond is our next guide, so I’m excited about all the new things! I do have a quick question though: will Singapore still be an option for math?

Re: What guides are you using?

We are using Little Hearts for His Glory for my son's Kindergarten year, and we are loving it! My favorite parts of the guide include: * Reading the Thornton Burgess books together. Sometimes we laugh so hard at the characters. I'm also amazed at how much we are learning about animals. A few days ag...

Re: Ding! Ding! Ding! Such great connections being made in Beyond!

I don't know the reference to Scrooby Inn, but it is awesome how your son is making such great connections with the material. The way the guides are written leads to such meaningful learning.

My little guy will be doing Beyond next year, so I love reading your posts about it!
